OMG IM BACK. so very sorry I left you, blogger. I've missed you oh so much!
I was so caught up on Tumblr, as well as cutting back on my makeup purchases that I didn't know what to blog about! I've just been writing short passages here and there on Tumblr, but I'm back!! and I'll try to update once in a while. :P because I'm still on a budget so no more splurging on make-up! :(

BUT I have a review for you guys!!!!
And it is for the

Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara!!!!

This mascara clams to "Dramatically lengthen, separate & condition" lashes.



It is described as Brush-On Fiber Extensions
-Dramatically long lashes: contains double the fiber for dramatic length.
-Conditioning oils for lashes: combining natural botanical and silk essences with panthenol to help nourishing lashes.

-Smudge-proof all day long: original film-coating formula repels oil and sweat; prevents smudging.
-Easy removal with warm water: slides off easily with warm water, prevents damage to your natural lashes.

Directions say to:
-Add the fiber-rich formula to tops of lashes repeatedly until lashes reach the desired length.
-Lashes will look long, natural and luxuriant.
-If you dab some on your eyelid by mistake, let it dry and you can easily wipe it off with a cotton swab.

My take on the mascara:

I had first purchased this mascara from Sephora for $24. Tried it out, and really liked it. Then, I found the japanese version of this mascara for half the price on ebay! I purchased it for $12 on ebay, and it was shipped to me from China. So, I have decided to return the Sephora one. :) I've tried both the Sephora one and the Japanese one, and they both work the same way.

I really like this mascara! It does everything it says it would. It has a curved full sized wand which makes it easy to grab onto your lashes. It lengthens your lashes after a few coats to make it look longer, washes off with warm water, mistakes can be easily removed. Very happy with my purchase. However, compared to my CoverGirl Lash Blast, it doesn't volumize as great. But that's the only flaw that I've seen with it so far.

Last week, i recieved a package in the mail! from Kym B!! i ordered a "i'll shoot you" tshirt from her! the shirt is super duper cute! and totally whitty hehe i couldnt resist!! i HAD to get it!

Cute packaging!!! :D she took a lot of time and care to make the package more personal!

i was so excited to open and see my shirt, that i accidentally snipped a hole in my shirt.. :( i was soo sad.

she also included cute earrings from maitai! it matched the shirt perfectly!!
as well as a Herro? pin!! i didnt take a picture of it. but its super cute and i put it on my backpack and some people noticed the pin because i heard them say herro!!! as they were walking in back of me. hehehe

because i was so sad about the holes in the shirt, i decided to make it more "mine" and designed it by cutting the back and some more holes in the front so it wont look so obvious hehe

3. i love to yelp! yelp.com is a website that you can review and find reviews on anything! food, dentists, supermarkets, etc etc! yelping is one of my hobbies and if i dont like something, i will be sure to let the whole internet world know!! its also a great resource if youre looking for a good place to eat, or looking for something but you dont know what the address is! i enjoy taking pics of my food too (haha) and i post it on yelp for everyone to enjoy. because you not only eat with your mouth, but you eat with your eyes as well!! you wouldnt wanna eat something that looks disgusting right?? :)
4. i prefer tea over coffee. i love tea! anything tea!!
5. Dark Chocolate is my fav chocolate. i like the semi bitter taste! mmm
6. ive picked up baking as a hobby!! i like decorating the baked goods even more though!! hehe
7. im chinese, but actually also 1/6 spanish!! that explains why im so pale haha i actually prefer to be pale because i look really gross and dirty when im dark. =X

packages + threading

i had my first ever threading experience today! i threaded my upper and lower lips. oh my, its so painful!! but i think its sooo worth it! my friend`s younger sister did it for me and i had no idea it was so easy! she taught me how to do it so i can try it on myself from now on :) top picture is before, i think you can kinda see the fuzzy stash that i have and the bottom pic is the after! still kinda red but so much better! ive always been so self cautious about my upperlip hair. but when i tell my friends, they tell me that if i hadnt told them, they wouldnt have noticed.. haha

since i havent been home for 2 weeks, i had fun opening all my packages today! whoo hoo!! i love packages! bought mix style headphones, those japanese bang sticky things, key covers from f21 and a necklace. i also got some konad stuff for a friend since its her bday tomorrow. but i didnt take pics of that.

mix styled headphones. very cute and stylish, but not very good... why? because the plug doesnt go into my ipod all the way and im scared to shove it in and breaking my ipod. so when you twist the bottom plug a little bit, the sound is muted or moves to only one ear.. ugh. the reason? because the plug is a little longer than the earphones that the ipod comes with! -____-;; im very disappointed! although, they are okay when i plug it in my laptop.

FUSAIN FACIAL WASH REVIEW

so, my skin has not been very good lately due to finals. this happens to me everytime finals/midterms come around. i start breaking out and nasty blemishes everywhere. i think its also due to the foundations i put on my face, it doesnt allow my skin to breathe, especially when yesterday was so hot.. my skin became oily by the end of the day.

i would like to introduce, the Fusain Facial Wash. Ive seen this at Japanese markets, and Korean markets. i think its around $3. i use this whenever i feel like i need to ex foliate my skin. as you can see, there are little white dots that help clear out the dead skin and oil. when you first squeese it out, its black. yeah weird haha but it turns white after you lather it all over your face.

the feeling when you start lathering it on your face is a little rough because of the tiny scrubs clearing all your dead skin and oil away. after you wash all the product off, it leaves this really fresh and minty feeling on your face. my face feels sooooo soft after i use this! its so nice and smooth that i cant stop touching it! haha i love that clean, dirt free feeling after i use it!

overall, i love this product! im almost done with my tube and i will definitely purchase it again!

i trimmed my bangs today because they were starting to get annoying and covering my eyes. i rarely do this because everytime ive ever tried to trim my bangs, i always mess them up and i always have to cut them fringed style cus i mess up and i look like a little chinese girl for a few weeks. but! yay this time i didnt mess up! i think i did a good job, if i do say so myself! haha

because i feel like my skin has gotten so bad, i want to start letting it breath more by not wearing foundation as much. i purchased Egyptian Magic yesterday on ebay for $29.99 which is cheaper compared to the official website! because the website sells it for $36!! yay im excited to use it! i hear so many good things about it! mainly from Bubby on Youtube hehe i will be writing a review for it! so keep an eye out! :)

urban decay

urban decay is having a sale! they have this gift set for only $20! (org $30) and the baked eyeshadow palette is only $18! (org $20). i dont need a new eyeshadow primer nor do i use their eyeliners anymore so im not gonna buy it cus i dont need them. and ive been purchasing a lot of drugstore makeup lately so i think i should stop with the makeup hauls for now. haha but i`d just like to share with everyone who might be interested! :)

Though i dont remember taking this photo lol i still remember the surroundings. this was taken when we still lived in Lincoln Heights (kinda ghetto part of Los Angeles, not too far away from Chinatown). We still lived with my grandparents at the time and around the block, was this library, which is where this was taken. my dad loved photography and theres a lot of other picture with me wearing the same dress and photographed with those flowers there. all the pictures my dad took of me were candid but it looked like i was posing.. haha the baby that looks utterly scared is my younger sister. (lol check out her fro-hawk!) she`s 1 year younger than me. i think i was 2 or 3 in this picture. this photo is taken before my other sister and brother were born. after my other sister was born, we moved to Alhambra. my mom is so fashionable! lol and she loved to make me dress up. i always had those gigantic flowers/bows in my hair. we are a pale family.. haha

i wanna buy some heels but idono where i would wear them to :( im looking at f21 and they have some of these cute ones. ~$30 idono if they`re worth that much. but then again, i doubt i will find cheaper ones at other places. i guess i will buy the first two and return them if i dont like it. i hate buying shoes online.. it makes me feel uneasy. especially not knowing if they will fit properly.

HELLO!!

long time no blogging! my school quarter is almost done, only 2 more weeks till finals so its been crazy! i feel like these past two weeks, ive been coming home exhausted. and even if ive had sleep, i wake up feeling tired. i find myself falling asleep in class a lot now.. i never did that in the past.. -.-

once again, im cross eyed.. *sigh* i swear its only when i take pics of my eyes!

anyways, recently, i started not to give a crap about how i look when i go to school. because like my friend said to me, i go to school to learn, not to impress people. so my face routine has been Foundation, Eyeliner, and Mascara. sometimes i dont even wear mascara.

what do you guys do with your faces when you`re either in a hurry to go to school/work/whatever? i know some may say "no makeup" but i just cant do that LOL i NEED makeup.

Why do boys lie? even if its about something so minor!!

the bf lied to me just now. i asked him,

wth? why did he feel like he needed to lie? this is the second time he lied about something so dumb. its so small, i dont understand why he did it. and it doesnt help that i, myself, already have trust issues.. its just so disappointing!! i dont know how i will recover from it. he keeps saying sorry, but he really doesnt know how i feel. a relationship is built on trust, yet he breaks it down so easily with 1 stupid lie. and he had the nerve to yell at me telling me "its a small lie! why do you gotta get so mad about it?"

HAUL

did major damage at the mall on wends! hehe mostly at Forever 21. its been like 2 months since ive gone to the mall.. i feel like i wear the same stuff every week.. so i decided to go to the mall! the blue collar shirt, i bought for only $0.01 cent!! because wet seal was having this one sale where it was buy 1 get second for 1 cent! :) and i FINALLY invested in the Too Face Shadow Insurance. i never really needed a primer because i didnt think my lids were all that oily, but i notice more and more now, that if i wear my makeup ALL DAY towards the end of the night, my makeup will look kinda gross. i was debating on if i should get the TooFace or the Urban Decay, but the Sephora sales associate said that TooFace gives you more product and its a little cheaper so i took the TooFace. :)

rite aid was having a crazy sale on makeup! most of the things were buy 1 get 1 50% off! yay! haha i decided i`ll take the chance and buy the Revlon Photoready in 003 Shell. i swatched it on my hand and yes, i can see many sparkles.. im not sure i can pull it off haha i shall use it on monday. i loveee CoverGirl eyeshadows :) so i got more. hehe OOH and the GreatLash in Royal Blue! i cant wait to try this out!!!!

im going to eat AYCE sushi tonight for my friends` bday! ahh i love sushi, too bad i cant eat much.. :( my friend says i eat like a frog..

Chinese New Year and Valentine`s day is this weekend! decided to bake cupcakes for my friends. it was fun! hehe i think im picking up the hobby of baking! :)

did some nail polish hauling this weekend. theres a nail salon supply store in my city and they carry a lot of different nail stuff. people mainly go there to buy stuff for their nail salon businesses hehe but i go there just to buy nail polish. its really cheap too!!

i turned my blackberry to a pinkberry! since my fav color is pink haha with the help of this website. shipped all the way from Hong Kong, but its worth it, to me i guess cus i figured ill be stuck with this phone for a while. i placed my order on Jan 28, and it arrived today Feb 06. pretty good i guess. a little more than a week. and it came all the way from Hong Kong. so i say this site is very reliable. it also comes with the tools to help you take your bb apart.

boys do not like shimmer. (thats what i was told) so i used all matte, brownish colored eyeshadows for this look. very neutral look :) and paired it with some false lashes for that flirty look. i know my eyeliner doesnt match because my right eye has a thicker line than the left eye, but its because my eyes are retarded like that and one of my eye folds are ticker than the other. haha as long as i look normal when my eyes are open thats all that matters right?? :D

WHY DO I ALWAYS LOOK CROSSED EYED WHEN IM TAKING PICS OF MY EYES?? -__-;;

these Darkness brand lashes are my current favorite lashes. theyre pretty, and last long. you can use them up to a week! these are in #2.

for this look i used the L'oreal Hip Duo in Cheeky. pink for the whole lid and then used a dark brown for the outter corners from my Coastal Scents 88 Palatte.

for some reason it looks a little more red than i would like it to, but whatevers.

put on some cute earrings. mine are hearts with a bow in the middle.

finished look. i hate my bangs right now. im going to get my hair trimmed this weekend.
